Atomic Sky’s QuantumTX initiative facilitates collaboration across critical roadmaps that bridge the Space, Mining, Energy, Agri and Defence industries. QuantumTX focuses on the opportunity for Australia to fully leverage it's competitive advantages in cross cutting technologies.

We facilitate the cross-sector exchange of knowledge, innovation, capability and technology to develop global companies in the space sector through three streams of activity;

  • Building community we deliver leadership events on converging technology streams that are essential to the global space sector and that extend Australia’s existing competitive advantage.

  • Through the SME incubator, we incubating ventures and creating competitive advantage in companies with significant potential to scale and catalyse significant economic growth.

  • Our Showcase highlights innovation in the cross-sector application of key technology roadmap enablers.

“One of the great opportunities in front of Western Australia is to utilise exciting new technologies, which are applicable across different sectors. Automation, data analytics, AI and other technologies transcend areas of strengths in this State, from mining to oil and gas, agriculture, medicine, the environment and the space sector. I am delighted that the Quantum Technology Exchange specifically addresses how these powerful, new technologies can be applied to improve and diversify the State’s economy and create the jobs of the future.”

Professor Peter Klinken AC, Chief Scientist of W.A. and Advisory Board, Australian Space Agency.

“The Space Science and Technology Centre at Curtin University is at the cutting edge of research, innovation and the commercialisation of space engineering. Curtin SSTC has long standing relationships with NASA, ESA, JAXA and our scientists and engineers have participated in a dozen international space missions.  Working with the Quantum Technology Exchange enables us to engage with a range of industry partners and apply new applications for space engineering solutions.”

Phil Bland. 2019 WA Scientist of the Year 2019, John Curtin Distinguished Professor.

“The MTPConnect WA Life Sciences Innovation Hub is co-funded through the WA Government’s New Industry Fund to work collaboratively with WA’s research, clinical and industry sectors to grow innovation, build business capability and successfully commercialise outputs from the state’s flourishing life sciences sector. The Quantum Technology Exchange opens up new pathways to translate space engineering technologies that enable new medical devices and digital health algorithms.”
