The QuantumTX Queensland METS & Technology 2024 program

Applications Closed: Mon, 8 April 2024

Support Announced for Queensland Startups and ScaleUps eager to embark on a transformative journey of growth and success.

The QuantumTX Queensland METS and Technology Incubator 2024 Program, offering startups and SMEs a transformative opportunity for growth and innovation, is co-funded by the Queensland State Government, is set to empower 15 startup and scaleup businesses over a 12-week intensive journey, providing each with invaluable access to mining companies, business training, mentoring, and a range of business experts.

“Queensland boasts a world-leading METS and innovation sector, and through this accelerator program, we connect innovative businesses to corporations, funders and support to enable rapid scaling that will further contribute to the state's thriving economy,” said Peter Rossdeutscher, Founder of QuantumTX.

“Through QuantumTX, we provide pathways for small businesses to scale across the METS, clean energy, defence, space and technology sectors.  Nurturing local and regional companies to solve critical challenges with applications that transcend multiple sectors.”

The 2024 program will support a diverse range of innovations, addressing critical industry imperatives such as optimisation, decarbonization, productivity and safety.

“The program makes direct introductions to industry and potential export pathways as businesses scale up, which is one of the best ways to increase national competitiveness,” said Kylah Morrison, Quantum TX’s Program Director.

“Late stage TRL researchers are also encouraged to apply and commercialise with industry support. Prominent companies in all major Queensland sectors support Quantum TX with a particular focus on new and innovative solutions, solutions from the regions and from our First Nations people.”
